Day 26

A very bad hotel in Brest/Belarus, heavy rain and a complicated custom clearance at the border to Poland started the day.

In total we covered now 10,356 km and are back in the European Union. A great feeling, which we will celebrate in Rzeszow tonight.

Green Eagle is flying through the countries thanks to the great care and work of my Co-Pilot Michael Schmidt. I do think that he deserved a short nap on my shoulder.

This is what we call team spirit, which will finally bring us to Paris.

The Wilson's are happy to see our landlord has did an excellent job in keeping the car going. It looks like your team made a great race with your support help. Good luck in winning in your category.

Hi Helmut !
Whats wrong with the hotel it looks lovely ? Anyway almost back to civilisation, I'm sure you'll make up for the hardship when you get the Kempinski.
Can't stop laughing about the thought of you running down the stairs ( probably in your night shirt ! ) screaming at security to find your car when Michael had taken it for a clean up, we were crying with laughter and I hope you weren't too hard on him ?
Had great fun following your adventures on your blog and the ERA website, really well done, almost feel like I was there, great organisation. Should have put a
Jules B sticker on the car, great advertising !
Glad to see you're still wearing my lucky Stetson hat and hope you win your category, doing well, and ............ Keep going !!

Keep going, youre doing a fine job

Not so exciting like Mongolia ?!
A unique experience of two unique persons will end in a few days.
It is a pleasure to follow your trip via Internet.
We hope, you will arrive in a good condition in Paris.
All the best for the last stage.
